These are just some of the kinds of birds we have in the store. Come in and check us out to see all of our birds AND learn more about our commitment to care!

African Grey Parrots

African Grey Parrots are medium-sized parrots that weigh a little under a pound and have an average wingspan of between 18 and 21 inches.

Largely grey, with black bills, this bird hails from equatorial Africa. And you can likely find them at Preuss Pets.

Amazon Parrots

Hailing from South America to Mexico and the Caribbean, Amazon parrots are predominately green with beautiful accenting colors.

They primarily feed on seeds, nuts, fruit, and your love. Some, come to the store today and see which one is ready for you!

Caiques

Small, stocky parrots with very bright colors, they can live up to 40 years.

These special birds are highly vocal and ready for you to come and be their lifelong friend.

Cockatiels

A member of the cockatoo family originating from Austrilia, these birds are recognized as good companions all around the world.

Come visit the store and see what makes these birds so delightful.

Cockatoos

Recognisable by their showy crests and curved bills, they are generally white, grey, or black with colored features on their crest, cheeks, or tails.

On average, they’re larger than other parrots; however the cockatiel is small. Either might be the perfect addition to your family.

Conures

More commonly known as parakeets, these birds come from Central and South America. They love attention and, if you come to the store, you’ll find one that’s dying for yours.

Eclectus

Native to New Guinea, northeastern Australia, and the Maluku Islands, the males of this species have bright green plumage and the females red, purple, and blue.

Bright-feathered, these birds are ready to brighten up your home.

Finches & Canaries

Canaries and finches are popular birds, whose lifespan can range up to 15 years. Both do well in captivity. And even better in your home.

Indian Ringneck Parakeet

A gregarious Afro-Asian parakeet, it has a wingspan of ~12 inches and measures about 16 inches tall.

Catalina (Rainbow) Macaw

Beautiful hybrid birds that are the offspring of crossing a Blue & Gold with Scarlet Macaws, these birds are social, gentle, and friendly.

Weing around 2-3 pounds, reaching up to 35″ in length, and living up to 50 years, these birds will be a joy to your family for years to come.

Quaker Parrots

Confident and social birds, these little birds have big personalities. Interactive, talkative, and exceptional bonders, they’ll be right at home with your family.
